    FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL

    Janella is an educational and organizational strategist and champion of inclusion, equity, and authentic representation. She is an executive leader, brand manager, experiential learning specialist, and researcher whose transformative approach to advising inspires and guides clients to create curriculum, experiences, and media content that spark family engagement, learning, and joy. She is an accomplished international speaker and leading voice in culturally responsive education.

    SENIOR CURRICULUM CONSULTANT

    Laura is a content and curriculum specialist with expertise in experiential learning, family engagement, and parent-child interaction. As both an experienced educator and developmental researcher, she is committed to deepening children’s learning through media by translating complex academic ideas into evidence-based practice.

    CURRICULUM CONSULTANT

    Seth is a writer, editor, and educator specializing in narrative strategy and storytelling. Seth is an author, experienced organizational leader, development specialist, and arts educator.

  • Shayna Pimentel (she/her)

    Shayna is an early childhood and STEAM educator with ten years of experience in content creation. Being a lyricist at heart, Shayna is passionate about bringing complex ideas, in both English and Spanish, to young learners in a fun, approachable, and comprehensible way.

    BUSINESS & CURRICULUM CONSULTANT

    Maureen is an environmental scientist, project coordinator, servant leader, and training facilitator, mentoring teams on the importance of active listening, clear communication, and empathy. As an advocate for children and families, her work with nonprofits and museums has centered around disability inclusion, children’s right to play, affordable housing, and equitable access to green space.

    Atabong is a social entrepreneur working at the intersection between social impact, digital media, and child development. His years of experience educating and mentoring young children in tandem with studies at Brown University have helped him to cultivate a focus on how decisions made ‘behind the screen’ can ultimately benefit the modern child..

  • Mikaela Parisien (she/her)

    CHILDREN’S MEDIA ASSOCIATE

    Mikaela is a third-year student at Northwestern University studying Theatre and Integrated Marketing Communications. Her deep passion for the arts and fostering diversity, equity and inclusion has driven her to utilize the power of storytelling to engage youth in her community through volunteering, event organizing and involvement in school clubs.
