Project Highlights
● Deliver executive coaching, cross-departmental relationship building, and DEI content strategy for Nickelodeon’s public affairs team. We’ve helped Nick redefine how they interact with global audiences through their pro-social initiatives and have authored more than 40 family-facing resources, including:
○ Talk and Take Action Guides: 10 comprehensive resources designed for parents and educators to spark conversations with kids about racism and discrimination.
○ Mental Health and Black Families: a caregiver-facing resource highlighting the importance of mental health in the Black community.
○ Women’s History Month: A Kids’ Guide To Empowerment; a kid-facing resource that uses Nick’s social content to empower girls to be changemakers. This resource was featured as a key part of Paramount’s gender equity initiative.
○ Our World Newsletter; a newsletter series exploring academic and Nickelodeon driven-research related to kid agency.
Guided senior executives at Sesame Workshop in creating a culture-building working group that supports their racial justice initiative, Coming Together. We also contributed the academic and strategic thinking behind their new racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse Muppets, including Ji-Young and T.J.
Facilitate in-depth learning sessions focused on Authentic Inclusive Representation for Spin Master Entertainment’s creative teams, deepening their commitment to DEI through the development of culturally responsive and inclusive content strategy.
Worked with a team of developmental researchers to investigate children’s learning and play, and co-authored a detailed monograph published by the Society for Research in Child Development.
